Will be interesting to see if PS3 owners get shafted again, as we did with GTA IV and RDR. One can only hope that R* delivers an equal experience in the graphics department on both platforms.
Anyway....will get on PS3, since that's the only console i own......
I have a PS3, and I think I'm going to pass on this one.....probably the same engine as GTAIV and RDR, which means that it is going to have the same problems - eg. a lower resolution than the xbox counter part.
Too bad, since it seems promising enough gameplay-wise.
Im just not going to spend money on yet another multi platform game.
I'm never buying another R* product. Im not gonna buy L.A. Noir and Im sure as certainly not gonna buy Agent. R* deserves a boycut from the PS3 community.
I bought a console with HD-capability to play HD-games, and it is in no way OK that R* screws over PS3-owners by selling us a broken (and i mean broken) game AND keeping it a secret.
I sincerely urge PS3-owners to boycot R*.
Also, I don't think Im gonna buy Sonys next console.
When comparing the map to the videos, I don't find the game world as big as I expected - or maybe it is just the draw distance that is confusing.
If you look at the Multiplayer Freeroam video - the part where the avatars ride along the river - it is easy to identify the spot in Perdido, just west of the part of the river where there is a small island. judging by that, the area is not all that big.

Yes.....one can only wonder why no PS3 screenshots og movies have been shown. Same thing happened with GTA IV, where the PS3 version turned out to be the inferior version....graphic-wise anyway.

The next big thing will be 3D-gaming. Sony's PS3 is ready for 3D gaming and 3D movies - only needs i firmware update. Sony will launch it's first 3D TVs within a few months.
That is why I personally think that Sony will prevail in the end....but hey.....im just a Doctor.

When playing MW2 i feel like a balloon with a gun, drifting around in plastic-land killing Kent-dolls. But it is kind of fun in it's own way.
The game keeps crashing, and with only 2 ppl on my friends list.
So DON'T buy this game......its defect. At least wait till the almighty SCEE find a fix.

Thats the problem with MMORPG en general. It is always exciting and all to explore a new world, but after some time, it just gets repetetive.
I know many of you will disagree with me, but I say this after having played: EQ, Anarchy, DAoC, Eve, WoW and EQ2.
I started to notice, that I began to get bored after some time. I felt like working my a$$ off for virtual gold. I realized that it wasn't this particular game that I was playing, but the hole MMORPG in general...
....that make me seriously consider skipping my PS3 and go for an x-box.
